1. The service
Mintoken is an LLM proxy. You change one line of code (the base_url) and route requests through us; we inject a compression system prompt, forward the request to your chosen upstream provider using your own provider key, and stream the response back. You bring your own upstream account; we bill you for the Mintoken layer only.
2. Account and eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a contract under Indian law. You are responsible for anything done under your account, including any provider keys you submit through the proxy.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Mintoken to:
- Generate or distribute illegal content, including CSAM, content inciting violence, or content that infringes third-party intellectual property.
- Send malware, phishing payloads, or content designed to compromise other systems.
- Attempt to bypass our rate limits, abuse free-tier signups (e.g. mass-creating accounts), or reverse engineer the service.
- Resell raw upstream LLM capacity as if it were Mintoken capacity. Building a product on top of the proxy is fine; reselling tokens 1:1 is not.
- Violate the terms of service of the upstream LLM provider whose key you are using. Their policies still apply on top of ours.
We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section. Severe abuse may be reported to the upstream provider and to law enforcement.
4. Plans and payment
- Free tier — up to 100,000 tokens per month, best-effort availability.
- Pro — ₹1,599 per month, billed through Razorpay.
- Team — ₹3,999 per month, billed through Razorpay, includes shared organization seats.
- Subscriptions auto-renew monthly until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from the billing page; access continues until the end of the paid period.
- All amounts are in INR and exclude applicable taxes (GST where required).
5. Refunds
Paid plans are refundable on a pro-rated basis within 7 days of the most recent charge if you have not used more than 50% of the plan's monthly token quota. Email hello.mintoken@gmail.com with your account email and the invoice ID. After 7 days, or above the 50% usage threshold, the period is non-refundable.
6. Service availability
We aim for high availability but the service is provided on a best-effort basis. The free tier carries no SLA. Paid tiers have a target uptime of 99.5% measured monthly; if a paid month falls materially short, contact support and we will credit pro-rated downtime to your next invoice. Upstream provider outages (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, etc.) are not within our control and do not count toward our SLA.
7. Your data
See the Privacy Policy for what we collect and what we never store. We never persist request or response bodies, and we never store your upstream provider key.
8. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mintoken's total liability to you for any claim arising out of the service is capped at the fees you paid us in the month preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost tokens, or upstream provider charges.
You remain responsible for your own usage of upstream providers. If your provider key racks up a bill at OpenAI (or any other vendor) because of how you used Mintoken, that bill is between you and that vendor.
9. Termination
You can terminate your account at any time from the dashboard. We can terminate or suspend an account at any time for breach of section 3 (Acceptable use), for non-payment, or with 30 days' notice for any other reason. On termination we delete account data per the retention rules in the privacy policy.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be emailed to active users at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after the effective date counts as acceptance.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka.
