1. Cancelling your plan
You can cancel a paid plan at any time from your Billing dashboard. No phone call, no email required, no “reason for cancelling” survey. One click.
When you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of the period you already paid for. After that date you move to the free tier and you are not charged again.
Mintoken paid plans are billed as one-shot 30-day periods. There is no auto-renewal — you only get charged when you explicitly press the Upgrade button. So “cancellation” here really means “don't bill me again, and let my current paid period run out.”
2. Reactivating a cancelled plan
Changed your mind? As long as your current paid period hasn't ended yet, you can press Reactivate from the same Billing page and your subscription continues without interruption — same plan, same period end date.
If the period has already ended and you've dropped to the free tier, you can simply upgrade again whenever you want. There is no penalty, cooldown, or reactivation fee.
3. Refunds — when we issue them
7-day moneyback guarantee on your first paid month.
If you upgraded to Pro or Team and within 7 days of the charge you decide it's not for you, email hello.mintoken@gmail.com with your Razorpay payment ID and we'll issue a full refund. No questions asked, no “cancellation interview.”
Beyond 7 days — no automatic refund, but ask anyway.
Once you're past the 7-day window, the standard policy is no automatic refund: you used the service, the costs (LLM compute, support, hosting) are already incurred. But if something genuinely went wrong on our side — billing bug, prolonged outage, plan-mismatch — email us and we will refund or credit your account fairly. We are a small team and we treat refund requests like adults talking to adults.
Annual plans (when offered).
Mintoken does not currently sell annual plans. If we introduce them, this section will be updated to describe a pro-rated refund policy for the unused months.
4. What is non-refundable
The following are never refundable, regardless of timing:
- Charges from the upstream LLM provider (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, etc.) — those are billed directly to your provider key, not to us. We never see that money. If you have a dispute with your upstream provider, take it up with them.
- Free-tier usage. There's nothing to refund — it was free.
- Charges where the account has been suspended or terminated for breach of our Terms of Service (abusive use, illegal content, fraud, chargeback abuse).
- Razorpay payment-gateway fees on a successful charge. When we issue a refund we eat that fee — it doesn't reduce your refund amount.
5. How long refunds take
Once we approve a refund, Razorpay processes it back to your original payment method:
- Cards / Net banking: 5–10 business days to reflect on your statement.
- UPI: typically 1–3 business days, sometimes same day.
- Wallets: 1–3 business days.
We don't control the timeline beyond hitting the refund button on Razorpay's side. If a refund is stuck past 14 business days, send us the Razorpay refund ID and we'll chase the gateway with you.
6. Chargebacks
Please email us before initiating a chargeback. A chargeback costs us a fixed gateway fee plus the original amount, which we have to recover by suspending your account and writing the loss off — and the underlying issue could probably have been resolved by a 30-second email. We'd rather refund you directly.
Chargebacks initiated without first attempting to contact us, or chargebacks on charges where we have evidence of successful service usage, may result in account suspension and being reported to Razorpay's fraud network.
7. Service-credit alternative
If you're eligible for a refund but would prefer Mintoken account credit instead (it stretches further because we don't lose the gateway fee), say so in your email — we'll add 110% of the refund amount as credit to your account, applied automatically to your next month's plan.
